OUR BAKER
Hi I am Amy, my hands are behind all the creative cakes showcased here. I am a self taught home baker and decorator.
Everytime I get a question, how did you come into baking, I just look around and say, it just happened, was an accidental entry. But day by day, I get to understand that, children carry whole lot of inborn talents passed down from generation to generation. I came to know that my grandmother & great grandmothers were all fond of baking and cooking. They baked using methods which are unknown to this generation of mine. We just wow at how could they? Bcoz we are used to this modern tools and we have a feeling these are all modern day foods. Nah, not at all. And the reason why I love what I do is I owe it to my mom. Her cakes are so divine and smells heavenly. Never ever baked or learned how to bake from her, just watched her & devoured what she made. I am grateful for having her as my mom, thanking God for her.
So my baking journey started with my daughter’s 3rd birthday cake in 2013. But got into track only by 2016 and now a full time cake decorator. I had no idea of being a cake decorator even in my wildest – sweetest dreams
